In the past two years, the BMW X3 has been doing really well. As the top choice for many people entering the BMW brand and the sales workhorse of BMW, its average monthly sales have remained around 10,000 units.

There are many factors behind this car's strong sales. First is the added value of the BMW brand, since the blue-and-white roundel is something many people cannot avoid. Then there is its more suitable price compared with other BMW models; under the previous huge discounts, it could be had for just over 200,000, which was indeed very attractive. Another point is its relatively balanced product strength: the size is sufficient, the space performance is excellent, the driving control is outstanding, and the power is adequate. In short, as a family car, the X3 is indeed a presentable model, offering both face and substance.

It is just that the Chinese market's pursuit of "big" seems to be an obsession. Therefore, BMW officially announced information about the all-new generation X3. Compared with the old model, this all-new X3 has increased its wheelbase by a full 111 mm, upgrading from the previous 2864 mm to 2975 mm, which is 3 mm more than the standard-wheelbase X5 M, and its 4865 mm body length is also almost catching up with the X5. Truly, the new generation surpasses the old.

Of course, besides the change in wheelbase dimensions, this generation change also brings a major transformation. The iconic large twin-kidney grille looks relatively harmonious on this car. This time it adopts a split design for the first time, and the staggered arrangement of chrome lines inside the grille adds a touch of fashion. The glaring headlights and the relatively simpler sporty lower bumper give the entire front face a somewhat fiercer expression, and the front end is noticeably thicker, making it look rather unapproachable.
