On July 30, BYD Ocean Network released the official interior images of the 2027 Seal 06. The new car has been upgraded in both exterior and interior, is equipped with a roof-mounted lidar, and is positioned as a mid-size sedan.

The exterior had already been revealed previously, with the front bumper grille removed, replaced by smoked dual-lens LED headlights, and guide channels added to both sides of the front bumper. The body dimensions are 4870/1890/1495mm, with a wheelbase of 2820mm, adopting a coupe-like body stance and a full-width wavy taillight.

In terms of the interior, the center console introduces a black piano-black panel and adds ambient lighting, the instrument screen is changed to an embedded design, and the central island has a more rounded shape.

In terms of power, it is equipped with the fifth-generation DM system, with a 1.5L engine having a maximum power of 74kW. The drive motor offers two power options, 120kW and 240kW, an improvement compared with the current model. Pure electric range is offered in three versions: 170km, 205km, and 230km.

Quick review:

The interior of the new Seal 06 has become much cleaner, with an embedded instrument panel and a black piano-black panel, making it look more refined than the current model. After removing the grille, the front face is more concise, and the addition of lidar means intelligent driving capability will improve. The increase in drive motor power from 160kW to 240kW is a solid upgrade. Overall, it is an annual facelift that fills in the gaps, with no disruptive changes, but everything that needed to be addressed has been addressed.
