On October 3, Changan Kaicene announced that the Kaicene V919 Honor Edition 8-square model will be officially launched on October 13. The new vehicle is positioned as a new energy commercial vehicle, focusing on loading efficiency and charging speed.

The new vehicle comes standard across the lineup with CATL battery cells, has a CLTC range of 355 km, supports 2C fast charging, and takes only 15 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%. For urban distribution logistics scenarios, this charging speed can reduce a considerable amount of waiting time.

Loading capacity is another selling point of the V919 Honor Edition. The 1.74-meter-wide cargo box can place 4 standard turnover boxes side by side without staggering, reducing wasted scattered space. The 3.38-meter-long cargo box meets the large-area certification standards of freight platforms, and 3.3-meter pipes and boards can be easily loaded.

In terms of safety and chassis, the new vehicle adopts a ten-crossbar five-longitudinal frame paired with a cage-type high-strength body. Under full load, the emergency braking distance at 70 km/h is 21.53 meters, and the entire lineup comes standard with electronic stability control and hill-start assist.

Quick comment:

In urban distribution logistics, time is money. A 355 km range plus 2C fast charging, recharging half the battery in 15 minutes, means less waiting and one more trip. The 1.74-meter-wide cargo box is specifically adapted to turnover boxes, reducing corner waste, and loading a few more boxes is real income. CATL battery cells plus a cage-type body give durability a solid foundation.
