On September 3, Audi released official images of its new all-electric two-seat sports car, the Audi Concept C. The new car features an electrically retractable hardtop convertible design, and its exterior is highly futuristic. The new car will make its debut at the 2025 Munich Motor Show, and the production version will be built at the Böllinger Höfe plant.

In terms of exterior, the Audi Concept C applies a new design language. The front face uses a combination of multiple block surfaces, the black closed-off grille can house electronic equipment supporting intelligent driving functions, the narrow headlight assemblies are full of sci-fi flavor, and the protruding front lip at the bottom enhances the sense of performance.

The new car's cabin position extends rearward, and the body proportions are very elegant. The electrically retractable hardtop can both preserve the overall styling and enable open-top driving, while the closed-off wheels further enhance the futuristic feel. The rear of the Audi Concept C's body features heat dissipation openings from the gasoline era, the taillights echo the front headlights, and the titanium-colored body is full of luster.

In terms of interior, the new car adopts a wraparound cockpit design, and the interior uses a large amount of eco-friendly materials. The three-spoke multi-function steering wheel stays close to the traditional style, and the 10.4-inch central control screen adopts a foldable design, providing a stronger sense of integration when hidden. All physical buttons inside the Audi Concept C are made of anodized aluminum, delivering a tactile experience with a mechanical feel.

In terms of power, the Audi Concept C adopts a new all-electric powertrain, and specific power parameters have not yet been announced. Some reports say the new car may be built on the PPE electric platform and offer single-motor and dual-motor versions.

Dada review: Audi is among the first-tier luxury brands that have been relatively active in electrification transformation. The Audi Concept C is an important part of the brand's electrification process and has a certain influence on the design of subsequent models. The roof of the Audi Concept C adopts a modular design and does not occupy interior space. For intelligent driving, it may adopt the 8295 chip and urban NOA system of the SAIC Audi E5 Sportback. Its price may be in the 500,000-800,000 range, and the production version may go on sale as early as the beginning of next year (2026).
