On July 6, the Tank 300L opened for pre-sale, launching two plug-in hybrid versions, Hi4-T and Hi4-Z, and will officially go on sale on July 19.

In terms of exterior, the Tank 300L continues the boxy design, with the front face swapping to a blacked-out TANK lettering grille, while retaining circular LED headlights on both sides. A lidar has been added to the roof, and a small blue smart-driving light has been added at the exterior mirrors. The rear adopts a side-opening door design with an externally mounted spare tire.

The Tank 300L measures 4886mm in length, 1984mm in width and 1927mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3010mm. It offers 40 expansion interfaces and modification points, which can be used to install a winch, spotlights, action cameras and a bull bar, among other things. It also has 4000+ off-road route guides and a user ecosystem, and is equipped with an in-car radio, oxygen generator, satellite communication and more.

In terms of interior, the Tank 300L is equipped with a 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch floating central control screen. The infotainment system is the Coffee OS 3 smart cockpit, supporting the Coffee GPT in-car AI voice large model and a variety of phone connectivity features. The steering wheel has reverted to the classic three-spoke design, and continues to use an electronic column shifter.

The front seats feature heating, ventilation, memory and massage functions. The rear seat backrest angle can be adjusted between 25° and 33.7°. The vehicle is also equipped with steering wheel heating and a 12-speaker audio system.

In terms of driver assistance, the vehicle is equipped with 1 lidar, 3 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars and 11 cameras, totaling 27 perception hardware units, supporting full-scenario NOA intelligent assisted driving.

In terms of power, the Tank 300L adopts a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 2.0T engine and an electric motor, with the engine's maximum net power at 180kW.

The Hi4-T version is equipped with a 130kW front motor, a 9-speed automatic manual transmission and a 37.1kWh battery, adopts electronically controlled part-time four-wheel drive, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds, and has a WLTC pure electric range of 105km and a combined range of 913km.

The Hi4-Z version is equipped with a 180kW front motor and a 200kW rear motor, a 3-speed DHT dedicated hybrid transmission, a battery capacity of 59.6kWh, adopts electric four-wheel drive, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, and has a WLTC pure electric range of 200km and a combined range of 1122km.

Xiao Tang's view: The Tank 300L balances family use and long-distance travel while retaining the basic attributes of a hardcore off-road vehicle. The wheelbase has been extended to 3010mm, an increase of 260mm compared with the previous model, improving rear-seat space and allowing it to accommodate the seating needs of large families and the loading needs of camping. In terms of power, two plug-in hybrid versions are offered: the Hi4-T retains the mechanical four-wheel-drive structure and targets users who prefer traditional off-roading; the Hi4-Z is equipped with a larger-capacity battery and has a longer pure electric range, making it suitable for urban commuting and light off-road scenarios. In terms of intelligent driving, it has filled in previous shortcomings, equipped with lidar and the Coffee Pilot 3 system, supporting navigation-assisted driving on highways and urban roads.
