On August 5, the 2027 AION RT was officially launched, offering four models: the 550 Smart Enjoy Edition, 605 Smart Premium Edition, 710 Smart Premium Edition, and 710 Smart Flagship Edition. This facelift mainly focuses on adjustments to the electric drive system, range capability, and some interior and exterior details.
The 2027 AION RT continues the current model's fastback coupe styling, with only detail optimizations on the exterior: the fully hidden door handles have been replaced with semi-hidden designs, and emergency pull handles have been added to cope with usage scenarios in extreme weather. The body dimensions remain unchanged, with length, width, and height of 4865 mm, 1875 mm, and 1520 mm respectively, and a wheelbase of 2775 mm. The trunk capacity is 540 liters.
The interior of the 2027 AION RT adds new soft-touch upholstered areas and a new dirt-resistant color scheme. The center console continues to feature a combination of an 8.88-inch instrument display and a 14.6-inch central control screen, equipped with the ADiGO 6.0 system, supporting full-vehicle intelligent voice control, phone connectivity, and remote vehicle control functions. The roof adopts a split-type sunroof with a standard electric sunshade. The driver's seat supports heating and ventilation, and the 710 Smart Flagship Edition additionally provides heating and ventilation for the front passenger seat.
The 2027 AION RT adopts a new-generation end-to-end intelligent driving assistance large model, with 360 surround-view cameras + transparent chassis as standard across the entire lineup. Except for the 550 Smart Enjoy Edition, all other models feature L2-level assisted driving capability, among which the 710 Smart Flagship Edition also supports highway navigation assistance and full-scenario intelligent parking.
The 2027 AION RT is equipped with an amorphous alloy electric drive system and a CATL lithium iron phosphate 2.0 magazine battery. The 550 Smart Enjoy Edition and 605 Smart Premium Edition have a battery capacity of 56.6 kWh, while the 710 Smart Premium Edition and 710 Smart Flagship Edition have a battery capacity of 70.1 kWh. Among them, the motor used in the 710 km range version is equipped with a 0.025 mm amorphous alloy iron core and a carbon fiber rotor. Compared with traditional silicon steel sheet motors, this structure reduces iron core loss by 75%, and the motor's peak efficiency can reach 99%; the paired 400V silicon carbide electronic control module reduces electronic control loss by 71.6% compared with traditional silicon-based solutions. Standard features include 6kW external discharge and high-voltage cutoff upon collision.
