Recently, FAW Toyota announced the official launch of the new Crown Vellfire. The new model is offered in four configuration versions, with an official guide price range of 899,000 yuan to 929,000 yuan. This facelift mainly involves exterior and interior detail changes and some safety configurations, while the powertrain remains unchanged.
In terms of exterior, the new Crown Vellfire adds a Polar Night Black body color. The front fascia continues to feature a shield-shaped front grille, three-dimensional chrome trim, and LED dual-layer headlights, with blackened elements added to the front section, giving the overall visual style a more sporty character than the current model. Body dimensions remain consistent with the current model.
In terms of interior, the overall layout of the new model has not changed significantly. The main adjustment is that the interior chrome trim has been changed from silver to gold, covering the area from the cockpit to the overhead console. The second row continues to offer independent seats with power leg rests, ventilation, heating, and massage functions, and is equipped with a detachable touchscreen for operation. The audio system is a 15-speaker JBL brand system, the air conditioning features four-zone independent control, and a nanoe water ion generator is also equipped for in-cabin air purification.
In terms of powertrain and chassis, the new Crown Vellfire continues to be powered by a 2.5-liter hybrid system, paired with E-Four electric four-wheel drive. According to official data, the WLTC combined fuel consumption is 6.3 liters/100 km. The chassis is based on the TNGA GA-K platform, retaining a high-rigidity body, frequency-sensitive dampers, and a second-row vibration-damping structure, and adopts noise-suppression measures.
The new Crown Vellfire uses a more easily breakable glass material for the front windshield, and the anti-theft system adds an independent battery, so that even if the vehicle's main battery is disconnected or the wiring is cut. In addition, the Toyota Pilot intelligent driving assistance system is standard across the range, including functions such as the pre-collision safety system, lane tracing assist, dynamic radar cruise control, and intelligent parking.

Judging from the facelift content, the new Crown Vellfire has not adjusted the powertrain or seat layout, with the focus on supplementing the exterior and interior style and improving safety functions.
